Are maggots good for fishing?
Maggots can be combined with ground bait, boilies or pellets which enhances their effectiveness by adding the scent and attractiveness to the bait. When used in carp fishing, this can be very helpful as carp tend to be more cautious so the extra element of the scent and attractiveness of the maggots, can help to draw the fish closer towards the location of where the bait is placed.
